With everyone eating most of their meals at home these days, there’s no better time to develop your cooking skills and add new recipes to your repertoire! On top of adding some social time to your plate, our chefs will help make cooking something to look forward to with our new adult course offerings. 

No matter which course or class, our chefs will engage the participants in discussion and help guide them through their recipes in order to bring their dishes to life in their very own kitchens. Classes have been built to encourage independence and self sufficiency and includes time for prep and clean up! Don’t miss out and join us for our most innovative program offerings to date!

Meal Prep Mondays Drop-in Class

$35.00 per class

Fridge fatigue? Pantry played out? Rooks to Cooks is here to help you bring some life to your weekly meal prep with new recipes and meals that will boost your immune system and get you excited to dig in! We will teach you to use what you have on hand to elevate your repertoire and showcase flavours you never knew you could create! With Meal Prep Monday, we’ll work together to prep up meals for the work week that will leave you feeling energized instead of exhausted, and get you excited for your next meal.

May 4: Superfood kale salad, creamy chickpea pureed soup and herb and garlic roasted chickpea croutons

May 11: Rainbow soba noodle salad, beef or tofu & broccoli stir fry and jasmine rice

Delicious Dinners Drop-in Class

After a busy day at work, the last thing you need is to use more brain power to come up with an innovative dish to make for dinner. Join us for a cooking class designed just in time to get a tasty and elevated supper on the table for everyone to enjoy together. We’ll be making a new side and a main each class that will impress even the pickiest of guests. This course will focus on using commonly found, inexpensive and easily substitutable ingredients to their fullest potential to create a nutritious and delicious meal to be proud of. Our Chef will be there to answer any questions or to help you with any ingredient substitutions you may need along the way.

May 20: Chickpea Tikka masala, potato & pea samosas with a side of mango chutney for dipping

Baking Bash Weekends Drop-in class

Have you got your eye on golden brown pastries, flaky biscuits and fluffy dinner rolls? Binge watched all the old episodes of your favourite baking competitions, then stocked up on flour and sugar with best intentions?

With our Baking Bash Weekends Class, Rooks to Cooks will give you the skills to pull off some of your biggest and most beautiful bakes. Each class will delve deep into the techniques and theory behind the recipe, and our Chef will share tips and tricks of the trade to ensure even you will be impressed with what you create!
