AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Our after school culinary programs are 2 hours long, and are conducted in our summer camp church facilities once a week for the length of eight weeks. Students participating in our after school programs will have the opportunity to learn how to cook and bake from professional chefs, and will gain invaluable hands-on experience cooking homemade, delicious and nutritious meals that students and their families will love. Our programs are always team based and fun, not to mention jam packed with recipes and samples to take home after every week. We are determined to empower our students to become more independent by building self-confidence and supporting self-expression through culinary education.

Sweet & Savoury (Ages 8-14) – MONDAYS

Start date: 25 March, 2019
End date: 13 May, 2019

Length: 7 weeks (Closed April 22nd for Easter)

Times: 4:00PM – 6:00PM

Goal: Our goal is to equip our students with both pastry and culinary skills and knowledge meant to help build their confidence in and out of the kitchen. Upon completion of our program, students will feel prepared to independently execute recipes at home and obtain the skills necessary to assist with dinner preparation and/or even make their own lunches.

Around the World Round Trip (Ages 8-14) – TUESDAYS

Times: 4:00PM – 6:00PM

Goal: Our goal is to equip our campers with integral life and cooking skills while exposing them to 16+ authentic dishes from around the world meant to open their minds to new foods and flavours, and gain an appreciation for other cultures.
