COOKING PA DAY CAMP IN MIDTOWN TORONTO

Kids PA Day Camps for your children age 7 and up!

Rooks to Cooks is ready to get back into the kitchen with our PA Day Camps this year! We aim to help your child discover and foster a love of cooking, learn new skills, challenge themselves with new recipes, and experiment with foods and flavours. Each PA day camp program features brand new recipes inspired by the season and developed to engage your child in a fun, educational and tasty way while they’re outside of the classroom.

LOCATION: Midtown Toronto

We couldn’t be more excited about our lovely, new Midtown location at the First Unitarian Church of Toronto. Our little chefs will be cooking up some fun and lots of great dishes in this terrific air-conditioned kitchen space with adjoining hall. This location is close to the intersection of Avenue Rd. and St. Clair Ave. West @ 175 St. Clair Ave. West. There is street parking available or a small one-way laneway at the church for pick up and drop. It is easily accessible by public transit.

Festive Feast (7+) December 6th – $105.00

Keep cozy in the kitchen for the holidays with a holiday inspired stuffed chicken leg, crispy latkes, glazed carrots and everyone’s favourite gingerbread cookies! Your child will make their own satisfying festive lunch, then roll,cut, bake and decorate holiday gingerbread cookies to share at home.

Warm and Cozy Comfort Foods (7+) January 17th – $105.00

Bundle up from the cold with cozy comfort foods that will keep you warm on a winter’s day. Welcome the new year with flavourful roasted red pepper soup, herbed pesto and cheese panini, refreshing citrus salad bursting with fresh herbs and a sweet bite. Children will make their own satisfying lunch and a tasty treat to share at home. This course is great for beginners as well as experienced cooks looking to learn some new recipes to share with their families!

Sweet on Baking (7+) February 14th – $105.00

It may still be snowing outside, but these sweet Valentine’s Day recipes will have you feeling all warm and fuzzy! Keep it cozy with miniature chicken pot pies, a refreshing salad featuring winter citrus and arugula, rich hand-rolled chocolate truffles and sugar cookies to share.  Your child will make their own satisfying lunch, then bake and decorate some sweet treats for their valentine. Share the love and the food this Valentine’s Day!

Sizzling Summer (7+) June 5th – $105.00

While things are starting to heat up outside, we’re keeping it fresh in the kitchen with recipes inspired by the sunshine of the season. Start sizzling with cheesy sweet potato quesadillas and fresh pineapple salsa, paired with a vibrant green goddess salad featuring kale and avocado, then sweeten things up with summer strawberry shortcakes. Your child will make their own satisfying lunch, a sweet treat and bring home their own fresh seasonal pickles to share!
